Chidoriya Cleansing oil

Before I start talking about this new find, let me tell you that Johnson's baby oil does the job just fine. I have been using the baby oil since a very long time to remove make up, so I massage it into my skin and then my eye lids and lashes till everything is off, and then wash off my face. The glow is amazing.

However, as I was strolling around the city today, from shop to shop, I entered the C.O.Bigelow and discovered the Chidoriya cleansing oil. It has organic grape-seed and jojoba oil. Naturally, it leaves your skin ultra smooth and glowing after use. I took a pump of it on my palm and massaged it all over my face and neck slowly and gently. Its so smooth and full-bodied that it feels amazingly relaxing.

I washed my face with a cleanser after using the product, and I didnt even have to use an eye make up remover. It cleaned every traces of my mascara.

Over all  a 5/5

My Home

We are an young couple. We got married in February 24th of 2012. Life has since been about loving, fighting, adjusting, giving in and not giving in, exploring the unexpected, and learning. I call the place we live at - 'Home'. And it has been a beautiful experience setting it up. I love my little family of 2, and this little place called home.

As we are still at the beginning, and still setting things up, we would love to own a place soon. Small but our own. We sometimes sit over and think how it should look, an how it should be, ....Do you have some tips for us?

Meanwhile, here is a mood board...

If I must, then I shall wear something elegant!

Yes its still chilly in East Coast. But style cant wait for the passing weather. Its a part of life that goes on even in the most unbelievable circumstances. I just bought this Trench coat, something that was on my list for a while and the blue fitted, knee length trousers. with 2 zip detailing on its pockets.

The trench coat is beige, while the trouser is blue and my bag red. Tell me about a diverse color palette!

First day of spring

Celebrating the first day of spring... The much much long awaited season of this year...Of every year I believe. I took these pictures in the crowded central park. Everyone was there, the entire city and so was I. Loving every bit of the chilliness, which promised to bring warmth. The barren trees, promised to be green again. It was a lovely afternoon.

Bosie Tea Parlor - Quaint and Cute

We discovered this place accidentally last year on Valentine's day. We intended to go to another restaurant (another favorite) but it was so crowded that we decided to walk around and landed up at the Bosie Tea Parlor.

This place was an instant love.. Their wide variety of tea and pastries are so amazingly lip smacking that you wont be able to  get over them, even when you get back home and are dreaming! They are that good. My personal favorites are the millicrepes and the Darjeeling macarons.

They have a wide collection of teas..

This time around I went over with a friend for lunch and ordered for their standard tea set, which has these amazing scones with clotted cream and jam, 3 tea sandwiches of your choice, tea cakes and macarons. We ordered one set each and had to get them home in doggy bags.

Its such a cute little place that you wont feel like leaving. I never want to. And being a tea person, their huge selection of tea keeps me glued to this place. They have an interesting way to give their bills too, its inside the book called "Here is New York" by E.B.Whites!

Do you have a favorite tea parlor too? then tell me.

Introducing....Wednesday Wishlist!!!!

I was Once told that the power of intentions are strong. And I kind of believe that. Good things have happened to me in life, and things that I thought should had been different, had a good outcome in the end. In the end, it all fell into place. So, now I am not making a note in my little secret diary meant for God and Santa, but in my blog, for everyone. But then, am gonna behave human here. I want some materialistic things this time, er..., actually most of the time. After all didn't somebody say, "Money cant buy happiness but, it can get you awfully close"

So here is my first list for this Thursday. March 13th 2014

Boss
I like this tweed jacket. Very stylish and springlike. A start of spring, cocktail favorite. Good for after work drinks. It can be elegant yet casual.

Boss Tweed Jacket

Altuzarra
This statement piece by the luxury women's ready-to-wear clothing designer Joseph Altuzarra, is very chic. A fantastic accompaniment for a Sunday brunch, white flowing dress. I think it goes very well with white, black, bottle green, bubble gum pink. Can you think of more colors? Then write to me.

Bibhu Mohapatra
I think I feel earthy. A lovely green on black is my favorite. What I like more is the way the green has been carried over to the black. Very Stylish!

Chalayan
Hussein Chalayan has become my favorite this season. I love the way these garments flow and form around the body. He plays the shape-and-form game so well. I love this piece. And again it’s earthy, so all the more reasons to love J

Dries Van Noten
Do you remember?
Starry, starry night.
Paint your palette blue and grey,
Look out on a summer's day,
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul. By Don Mc Lean
That’s the song it reminded me of when I saw this statement piece at first. Mmmm….Dreamy!

If nothing else...then travel!

My dad retired couple of years ago. He is coping with it, and my mother coping with him. When I speak to them, I give them my biased suggestion. Travel. They don't always like it, as travel requires the energy of youth, money and after a certain age...planning, lots and lots of it!

I love traveling. And that has been the best part of my marriage too, we travel a lot together. We have traveled to beautiful places, historic places, romantic places, but there has been some places that's stuck with us, and we know, even if we go back together to the same place at the same time, it still would be different. It may be nice, but different.

I want to hold onto them, and remember and share the love we felt. Watch this space for more.
